i dont get how mushrooms can grow on grass , like a lawn or something. dont they usual need some type of manure like cow or horse dung in order for the chemicals to process through and shit. like ive seen pictures on this website where mushrooms were growing on a lawn with no manure anywhere near it.

they arent actually growing from the grass...their growing from the mycelium network that is established in the ground. the soil has a source of nutrients in it, probably fertilized soil. they dont NEED any type of manure to grow though, just a source of nutrients of somekind, which can come from various things that could be in the ground.
the grass is just growing from the soil where the mycelium network happens to be.
