have you considered the possibility that most of the change has already occured? Look at the world as it is today in relation to humanity.

Considering how every other prediction for the end of the world turned out, I'm scared shitless.

It will be another day for whackos to stand around the city streetcorners with signs, nothing more.

Let it be told, that these changes are real, and of Truth.

There is much falseness attached to what is true, but that which is false will be shed by 2012.

The world is degenerating, falseness stands ever stronger today than it was yesterday.

The world will end but no one knows when that time will be. Fuck 2012, it's Rush 2112.

my friends, let me be your light on the subject.

Believe in me, I am not false in these truths I can show.

These are false teachings. Listen.

Falseness IS greater than ever before. This is because we are at the end of a great cosmic cycle.

Truth will be restored. This is my promise to you.

2012 is not the beginning, nor the end.

However, it is a SIGN POST, that marks the completion of the beginning of the age of aqarius.

THe age of pisces ended in 1987, and we are in a transition period.

welcome to the new world. I am here to guide.

It's not the end of the world, it's the end of the era...all it is, is a new beginning....and hopefully a positive shift in gloabal conciousness.

Maybe the consciousness of humankind will shift, taking us to a higher level of consciousness? We are learning new things about the world every day. Things we never thought possible. Our society is in shambles. People are slowly being awakened to what needs to be said, and what needs to be done. Our leaders are destroying this world, but more and more people are seeing the death and destruction and are doing something about it. Maybe nothing will happen in 2012. Maybe whatever happens will happen sooner, maybe later.

i do see the changes already, and i am worried by them. unless there is a huge shift in the way most people think about the world they are living in(i.e. Mother Gaia)we are surely on the way to catastrophe. and in only eight short years our sun will be in conjunction with the galactic center, an event that hasn't occured for more than 26,000 years. it turns out the Mayans were not the only ones to foresee this "end date". Terence Mckenna's Timewave also culminates on this point in time and many Native American tribes also agree. i guess we can only hope for the best

Timewave zero was based off the mayan calendar. Terrence had to pick an end date somehow, and its been known to be wrong.

Not saying there will not be a change though.
