How to remove price labels from gifts?
    #3539866 - 12/24/04 04:24 PM (19 years, 3 months ago)

On some surfaces, a razor blade makes quick work on labels... removing them without or with very little residue.

I'm having difficulty removing labels on thin, loose plastic. I'm also having problems removing the labels off a few others surfaces. Anyone have any good tips to removing these stubborn labels?

There's a product that is designed specifically for this purpose but I forgot what its called. It basically used when you peel off a lable and half of it stays on because of the glue that was used. This oil is rubbed on and swiftly removes the left over label junk.
Try searching Office Depot or Office Max or a craft store like Pearl or Michael's.

You can just rub it off with some water. Seems to work alright for me.

Hair dryers work well. The heat loosens up the glue.
