To long to cold

Ive had my 5 bags sitting in my closet at a temp around 75 for the past 10 days with no myc growth. Anyways today I moved them to a PERFECT spot with temps real close to 80? but im wondering if I messed everything up already? None of the bags look any different then when i injected them, except a little bit of moitsure is starting to build up just about the grain on the inside of the bag. Getting worried maybe I screwed it all up

Your cool.no cold that was the problem.Going thur the same thing.
When things get cold it takes a lot of time and grain takes more time to inoculate anyway.Merry Chirstmas

Ok sounds good, I have them sittin under my bed where the furnance vent come out and have that turned up to 85?, so Im guessing the ave temp will now be around 80-82? constantly and DARK. What should the temp be when I am fruting them with the 12/12 light?

dont keep them too close, the vent is probably closer to 100

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

well they are to the side of it... becase it one of those vents that is like long and sticks out of the wall about 2". So I put my bed over the top of that...basically trapping the heat and forcing the air to move over the bags and out an exit spot located at the other end of my bed. So they arent directly by them, but in a spot where the air is forced to move by them... make any sense? LOL

Around the same temp is cool but you do want to cold shock to help with pinning.

ok so basically when I get to 100% put the bags in a fridge for 18-24 hrs, then put them right into the 12/12? Thank you for your help by the way!
