My recent purchase of Ralphster's personal prints was met with great satisfaction. Lipi ya germinated in 24 hours on agar, columbian (?, don't know details) was only 24 hours behind (And both contam free, btw). Fairly good indicator of freshness, I figure... All seven strains were extremely dense and a couple with smaller caps had multiple prints.

I had earlier recieved a wild print from the fsr. It was isolated on agar, but then I f**ked up when I did the transfer to grain. I still have the plate stored for future tinkering though.

The reason I bring it up is that I figure it's like buying a car. You aren't gonna get a new cadillac for $5000 unless it has some liabilities that need to be addressed (Hell, you still wouldn't get it that cheap). A dollar can go a long way with the implementation of agar. I just wish that I could grow 100 new caddies the same way.



And JFYI Ralphster, I think I'll have my printing issues worked out by the time I do these agar transfers. It was too humid here lately, I'm guessing. I figure that I can make a mini-dehumidifier that I can run in my glovebox. Unless I'm the only guy without central air, I think a few of us will really dig the design.

Those $5000 Caddy's aren't hard to get... you just have to dispose of the body in the trunk by yourself! Guess it's the same with a $1 spore print... a little extra agar work and savings and success.

Oooops... don't want anyone to get the wrong impression from my post Ralph. I use Agar because I enjoy it. The syringes I've made from any of the prints from you were all clean.

Maybe I didn't HAVE to go with agar, but it was labeled a wild print. And I figured that I could avoid losing the whole print due to my numerous mistakes by only screwing up a few spores at a time. I didn't have a glovebox then, and the stove thing doesn't work all that well for me. I thought that this procedure would be my best option.

Now I love the stuff... for all my spores.

tom,  if you dont like the service, dont do business.
why be anal about ralphster being a mod?
he has done far more to this community & i think his efforts are under-appreciated, as well as dimitri has been under-appreciated.
2 guys who go out of their ways to make spores, supplies, etc. more affordable to people who cant affort everything they would like., instead they get flamed...why?
why do some people here have more concern over flaming then learning...its rediculous!
isnt that why we are here?...to LEARN!!

max....i agree from the post above, people get sick of door 2 door salesman right? people see you spamming in every post and it gets old.

1last thing i agree on,
its' alot easier to blame another for ones own mistakes...

I have helped way more people than rolf can even comprehend. You think you are helping people by posting lies and bullshit on the shroomery and turning threads in flames?

Not only have I helped thousands over the internet, I have also helped hundreds in the real world by taking them physically up the mountain and showing them mushrooms. I have had shroomerites from around north america visit me and camp on my lawn and have taken them for personal guided hikes to wild patches of Psilocybe cyanescens as well.

rolf, jim, anno and the other trolls, without your computer, you're NOTHING! Even with your computers, you are very little!
What have these trolls done other post other lies and bullshit under phoney names.

R. has demonstrated many times with his trolls posts of lies and bullshit that he is not someone that can be trusted. If you order anything from that guy, use a fake name and address!

I am new here as far as posting goes. I have noticed that the
free spore ring thing is something everybody likes.
That ralphster44 guy sounds like a nice person to me.
On the other hand,That captain mushroom is a jerk.
I think i'll order my stuff from ralphster.

What is the name of that other mushroom site?
