Question about coco fiber/coir

Hi all,
I recently bought some coco coir but didn't realise till i got home that it says "anti-fungal" on the packaging, do you think tht this while be harmful to my shrooms if i use it to case? The exact product i bought can be found here: dutch master hot coco.

Yep, thats the green nasty everyone talks about when getting coir. Don't use it! Unless of course you are trying to gorw contams, then you have the right product. Try to get the Gro-Brick brand as it doesnt need any sterilization

The "Gro brick" brand doesn't appear to be available in australia, nor any other coir that is free from green mold. Is green mold hard to kill, if so would it be ok to sterilise the coir in a PC? Any recommended times?

Deffinitely try it out on one or 2 casings.
If it has added anifungal additives, then probably selective against molds(like Benomyl), it might still work with mushrooms.
And after you rehydrated it, pasteurize in the microwave for 10 minutes or even better, sterilize in a pc.
