What would you say is the coolest, most outragious, artistic, surprising, and simply best filmed death in a movie?

Most artistic? I dunno, but Jack being strangled by the chief in "One Flew Over The Coo-coo's Nest" has got to be up there.

Just about any of the many, many death scenes in the zombie flick Braindead" aka Dead Alive. Two words for this film: Lawnmower massacre. As for artistic, Dario Argento puts lots of tender love and care into his elaborate murder scenes, Suspiria and Inferno are the best known of these I think.
Also the bit where Pyle kills himself in Full Metal Jacket has to be one of my favourite (and most disturbing) onscreen head wounds of all time.
Peace, love & pointy things,
Fina

Yes yes i was waiting for someone to say Argento!
right on. Tenebrae also has some very artistic deaths, esp. the way the blood paints the wall in the axe to the arm..or Deep Red has some too. Theres a few other Italian directors that have some impressive death scenes as well.
FMJ and DeadAlive are great as well, the lawn mower scene is crazy, oh cant forget the karate priest fight as well. Insane stuff..

Neo in the matrix, the airport scene in Steven Kings Nightflier, or anyone of the deaths in Re-animator.

As cheezy as Nightmare On Elmstreet was I think it did have some fucked up ways of killing off the stereotypical teens..
Where did u see the Skinny Puppy thing? I know it's on their Brap 3&4 multimedia album and it was a trailer for a horror movie that never got made called "Chunkblower"..

the death of that teacher old lady person in Final Destination., She is drinking some alchohol and then loooks away. When she looks back there is a crack in the glass but she doesnt notice. Then she turns around and starts walking over to the computer leaving a small trail of alcohol. She gets some in the computer and the computer explodes sending sparks and shattered glass into her flesh. She trags herself to the kitchen alll nice and bloody and but its too late because all of the alchohol everyone is burning and its leading straight to the oven where it will explode. She starts dragging herself further into the kitchen untill she cant move anymore. Right before she dies she grabs this towel which is connected to a butcher block of knives. She pulls the towl completely down and then all the knives land in her chest.
it kicked mad balls.
