Thin layer of mycellium

if there are many quart jars with substrate that seems to be completely covered in a thin layer of mycellium, not the hard, bright mycellium i'm used to, should one try casing it anyway or wait to see if it grows thicker, or something else????? thank you.

No don't case them yet... they just started growing.
