Here you go:

A post from scatmanrav (experienced dude) :
"
I'd say your humidity fluctuated a bit. The low points caused split caps and the high points cause mycelium to grow on the caps. You should be ok, I get the same occasionally. mycelium on the stems is fine though, that always happens. Its yummy and squishy.
"

Use the search function there is a LOT to find there..

mycelium on caps is a sign of LOW humidity. Those other people were mistaken

im growing the mazatapec strain right now, and on one of the mushies i did notice a tiny little ball of mycelium on it. my friedn thought it was a contam but i didnt think so. this is the second shroom i noticed it on. one time in the first flush one time in this flush.

so whats the final anwser. too much humidity, not enough air exchanges. whats the remedy?

Myc on caps is a result of high RH (fact!). Split caps are a result of LOW RH (fact!). More fresh air exchange will solve your problem BTW

Hyphae can it be that too much airexchange dries my mushrooms out, but still it seems like RH is ok? (By tons of waterdrops on the lid and walls, and rh meter saying 100%) Maybe check my "Split Cap" Q?

Too much FAE will indeed dry things out, I can tell you right now your meters is more than likely messed up :frown: Water condensation has really nothing to do with high humidity what it has to do with is temperature differences between the inside and outside of the grow container (chamber).
