hi shroomers out there... i need some help. im not a first time grower but im not a mycologist though and im having some problems with my cakes. they're wild psilocybe cubensis and i grew them under mmgg tek. the cakes have colonized with almost no losses at all, then i cased them (leaving whole) and there came the problems. they begin fruiting but the fruit doesnt even develops a pinhead, i just get some little 'mountains' of a more dense mycelial tissue that would rot the cake if not removed. what am i doing wrong? would it be too moist? too cold?
thanks for any help

I have had the same problem with wild cubbies. I believe the strain needs to become more isolated. Try germinating it on agar a few times and growing it out then. Wild cubbies are very strange at times.

Twenty-twenty-twenty four hours to go
I wanna be sedated
Nothing to do
Nowhere to go
I wanna be sedated

**Check out the FSR you may find something you like**

PEACE

damn, i dont think i still have spores of it, would it work if i clone some tissue on agar and then try to fruit? its strange, ive already grown exacty the same wild shrooms from the same location with absolute success... might not it be the winter? you know, south hemisphere and stuff... no heating in the house. =/
