Contams and Brusing

Ok, here is my situation. after my first flush i went and cleaned my cakes of most of the vermiculite. While in some areas the myc had taken hold and created a large lump, and to fit the cake back in the jar for its dunk i had to remove the excess.

Now its been a few weeks and there is new myc growth but i can plainly see the areas of dark dark blue or possibly green underneath the new myc.

So my question is does bruising make the substrate more susceptible
to contams?, and

Should i be concerned about this situation?

a picture would help so much here...

BLUE is bruising, and GREEN could be a contam. I've seen fresh cakes bruise a blue/green color before, and that's why a picture would help.

bruising fades away over time, and contams spread... so with a little patience, you'll know the answer anyways.

If you cut/tore away excess, you made the cake more susceptible to contamination, so there is a good chance that you have a mold growing in there. A pic would tell though...
