Has anybody experimented with dual action negative ion gernerators? I have read that it is more effective than a flow hood (the mushroom resercher) and much cheaper being able to filter air to .001 microns. If this is true why do people use flow hoods with hepa filters? Is it just because they have been popularized? Can someone prove one system is more effective than the other?

most "ion generators" are a load of bs..

electrostatic filters are used in most flow hoods.. at most good ones..

ion's generators aren't used in substitution of LFH in the professional mushroom industries.

no 99 it don't answer shit. Have you ever used or know anyone who has used a dual action negative ion gererator. For many year people used 89ns in electrical circuity. Later on a c420 was synthesized and the rest is history. And that IS currently what airostole forced me to say. Hubert was the first name i thought of, were you born in May. I was going to use Herbert.
