Does this sound like contam?

I have had a couple of jars leftover that have already colonized and I had one pin grow in the verm layer at the top of the jar. These jars were kept in a cupboard for about 5 weeks until I decided to birth and dunk the cakes. I then proceeded to put the cakes on perlite in an aquarium.

Everything had a good mushroomy smell to it, so I figured everything's fine so far. Now, after a couple of days in the humidity and 90 + degree temp, there appears this white dense cottonlike growth. It almost looks like the mycelium is swelling or "puffing up". I doesn't look like cobweb, so what else could it be?

Sounds like the humidity might be a little high. Thats just the mycelium growing out off the cake, usually happens right after dunking, if humidity is extremely high, or at the bottom of the cake when you use the double ended casing tech.
