If all the mushrooms survive they will be safe to eat. But you can bet that little green bastard will be back, he always comes back. He's like arnold or something. The fire pit was a nice touch, don't know if it helped much, but atleast it provided some entertainment.

No this is a MOLD and it is TRYCHODERMA. That little fuck is always on the mushroom frontier fucking up everyones project. And yes he ALWAYS comes back. But you can curb his growth with more air exchange. Try to prevent him with more air exchanges in the future and be a bit more sterile.
