So soak my WBS in coffee, then resume normal pf tek (1/8 coffee soaked wbs, 1/8 brf, verm and water)? Do you think i can do them in one pint jars and if so how many do you think i can noc up with only one eq syringe???

You could just try and soak your verm in coffee, add brf. You might want to experiment on a good moisture content by adding more or less water (since the verm is already soaked with coffee solution)
Otherwise
You need a Pressure Cooker If you do not have one. Just soak and simmer your WBS in coffee solution then load into jars (any size) and sterilize (with PC).
Read this: Doc's Wild Birdseed Tek http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/26004
I would also suggest you educate yourself on other member's successful techniques by reading the thread in Advanced Cultivation "The Coffee Project".

so if you do it with brf jars are you supposed to add the coffee in when your mixing the jars, or are you supposed to dunk them in coffee after they're colonized? or both? and are you supposed to use srtraight coffee or water it down first?

From what i've read (all 46 pages of the coffee project, just finished). According the the master of experimentation, coffee has increased growth when used to hydrate grain (rye, wbs etc.) And that spraying or dunking in coffee can lead to a higher rate of contams. I am going to try the wbs/pf tek tonight and will post results as they are avaialble. Hope this helps no need to read the whole project which seems to have been abandoned by many of its testers. I am currently rinsing and letting my wbs sit after soaking overnight in 50/50 diluted coffee!! hope this kinda helps i'm a curious noob myslef

has any body tried a coffee diluted mist? There are two cakes in the grow chamber now and more about to come out of there jars, going to start some wbs soon with coffee soak and simmer, but was thinking of trying a little coffee in mist water, I saw a thread where someone used dried mushies (I think it was) in his mist. *edit* ok im not going to mist with it

Coffee misting seems to be playing with fire contam wise. It was only mentioned about people misting casings with a coffee mix and created a breeding ground for contams. At least from what i've read in the COFFEE PROJECT>?

I will be starting a grow log on using coffee. I soaked rye for 24 hours using tap water. I am at this very moment simmering rye using 1/2 quart coffee (Mrs. Olsen/Juan Valdez) diluted with 2 1/2 qts water. Then I will pc today and noc on Wed. I will be studying with Thai Lipa Ya cultured from karo water. Grow log will be posted in the appropriate forum in a few days.

You never add coffee to anything that isn't going to be sterilized then colonized. That means no misting or dunking with it, no adding to casings ect. This stuff has all been tried and ends in failure most of the time.
The PF Tek hasn't been tested to much. I've heard of it being tried and the person failed but perhaps it was their fault. It has really only been successfully done with grains. Roger used it mainly with rye. He soaked it for 24 hours in 50% coffee/50% water..then you do not drain at all...you pour the whole mix into a pot (if its not already in one) and simmer with the coffee water..then strain WITHOUT rinsing. He steams the rye dry which consists of flipping it in a strainer right after being simmered and not rinsed and letting the steam come off it..then load into jars and PC. I believe he generally added verm after steaming/straining them before loading them in jars but I cant remember for sure. He's used it with great success with cubies, especially invitro, and growing stones (I believe just mex a, maybe tamps too, I forget this) in rye berries.
I've read all of that post and some other stuff from him on some other sites, RR is a very imaginative mycologist..
