SF Bay Area Hunt!!!
    #3521890 - 12/19/04 07:39 PM (19 years, 3 months ago)

Once again i made the journey to sf to hopefully find some actives. No actives today but i did pick up some fib mycelium from some huge beds in the Oakland museum area. Man that area is off the hook. Too bad these beds are so exposed. They just get turned over and rummaged through. For those of you who don't know, there are 5 beds 15x15' and 6-10" deep of wood chips. The mycelium mat is solid. I wish it would rain again. I wont be willing to make another trip until i know the cyan's are there
Here is a pic of the mycel

Some random shrooms.

These had my hopes up for a brief second.

Some chips i took home to start some of my fibs

if it rains next monday then the following weekend would be a good time for a road trip. Gas wont get any cheaper. next summer it will hit 3 dollars and drop back to 2.50 for the winter
