wet cakes
    #352225 -

I just transferred one of my cakes to a terrarium, a pristine white hockey puck when it came out of the jar, but it was also covered with water which it had sweated out onto the sides of the jar, and seeing as I've read that water droplets hurt the mycelium, I'm wondering whether this is going to cause mycelium rot or other problems. I considered daubing it with a Kleenex to remove the water, but didn't want to risk contaminating the cake. What should I do, just leave it as it is, or try to dry it off? Thanks,

WW

Well according to the dunking tek you can soak a freshly birthed jar in water for about 24hours and then place into a terrium and it will grow better since it now has more moisture. If you don't want to go to the trouble of dunking then you can probably just dab the water droplets off with a clean paper towel and let fruit.
