what oh what could it be?

i found a little pin of a mushroom today in southern new york, it was just a little bugger so i couldn't tell what it was, it looked like it would have had a fat base and been kinda short and stubby, but you never know. any suggestions on what it might be, i'm just a little curious.....stained dark blue fast
oh ya i'm pretty sure my friend said the gills (or the start of them) was yellow

I bet apoun close inspection you'll notice those aren't even gills, but rather spongy yellow tubes. You probably found a boletus of some sort, the fast bluing and yellow "gills"(sponge) points towards some kind of boletus. Most bluing boletus are considered posionous and none of them are psilocybin active.
