Question about Ecuadorian strain
    #3520880 - 12/19/04 04:58 PM (11 years, 11 months ago)

Hey what's up y'all? Kinda new to all this, and had a few questions about ecuadorian 'cubes. I've been sifting through a buncha spore companies' catalogs, and they all seem to have contradictory descriptions regarding potency, ease of colonization, etc. So instead of listening to all the marketing bs, I was wondering what anyone here had to say about Ecuadorians--how good do you think they are, esp. for a novice? Would you suggest anything else instead? Any help would be much appreciated! thanks!

Well, in my opinion all cubes are about the same in terms of difficulty of cultivation. Ive heard and seen equador colonize quickly and then take a little bit longer to fruit. I wouldn't be too worried about which cube strain to get as a begineer. All the grow paramaters are going to be the same for a cube, so get which ever one interests you more.

To me it seems the consensus on this forum is that a cube is a cube with various personal preferences and Ecuadorians are a recommended beginner strain but I've seen more recommendations for B+ though.

But like i said. It doesn't really matter. Cube is a cube

potency really depends on the substrate that your using.

Does potency really depend on the substrate that your using?  :tongue2:

Mycotopia sucks, and it seems to me the people that run it are drama queens.
