I've never really got into newsgroups, whenever I try to pull files off there, all I get are partial files.

I have noticed that my ISP had somehow manipulated it so that all my torrent clients wouldnt work anyways. ABC pooped it about a week ago, and bittornado and bittorrent and the other clients would not work.

they blocked bittorrent ports
I think with azureus you can change the ports, thus bypassing
their block.

I went back to newsgroups recently after I heard that Suprnova was being watched, but my ISP has a cap on data transfers via usenet so it's a little limited.
suprnova was my main BT source, but I'm sure a million alternatives will spring up in it's place.
I was probably more gutted after delirium vault got rid of their torrrents, I found some quality films thanks to that place.

Suprnova isn't the only torrent site that has been shut down recently. Torrentbits.org and Dvdr-core.org also shut down about the same time as suprnova did. Eventually all the torrent sites will be shut down.

damn! i was really pissed when Phoenix Torrents closed down, because people were really good about filling my requests. Now suprnova! Anybody know what will happen to the bit-torrent gui that they were creating? (there was a thread about it in the Pub a while back). Well, at least Loki Torrents seems to still be running... for now!

As I said somewhere else... there is only one true giFT. 
Hides traffic as HTTP traffic, as well as a thousand other good ideas (ok, ok, I pimp it 'cause I sort of know some of the devs, but what? it's quality  )
