Freeze in Southwest LA has halted growth a bit
    #3520725 - 12/19/04 04:11 PM (12 years, 3 months ago)

I found a few cubes yesterday, but it looks like our drop down to 27 degrees a few days ago has put a pause in the season. Expecting more cold weather in the next few days. If anyone else has had any luck in this region, I'd be interested in hearing. I was able to pick about a half pound of some pretty small cubes yesterday, but I didn't see much pinning.

Yeah but the cool thing about Louisiana weather is that it'll always be warm next week.

I grew up in Mandeville and this is a great time of year. The freeze is good. It looks like we have a few more days of cold though. Tomorrow could be a good hunt day, but I'd give it a week or two. I'm totally stored up though. Good luck.
