First Time Growing

i am wondering if the MMGG v3.2 is the best grow gude for a beginner to use. take into consideration i will probably grow EQs, i will be boiling on the stovetop, and i will use those micron magik discs is possible. how does this sound? I chose EQs b/c everyone says that a good strain for a beginner. im looking for some decntly potent mushroms adn a nice yield but most of all i just want them to grow. Thx for the help.

If your looking for nice yields you probably wont get that from growing off the cakes. Try casing them, its not that hard for a beginner, and you will have a much higher yield.

Stay with the cakes for a little while. Atleast until you've grown a few crops (when you are comfortable you can move up). That way you can work out sterilization and substrate and innoculation first then learn to case. Sure you won't get a monstrous yeild off of a few cakes, but at least you won't lose it all fucking up a casing.

Oh, and by the way, Ecuadors aren't major fruiters on cakes. (4 or 5 mushrooms per flush in my experience) But they will do good for you. What they lack in numbers they make up in potency.

Ecuador has been reputed to be one of the most potent races of cubensis, whether this is true I don't know, all I know is that it is pretty potent. Let me know when you get some B+ prints. I'm looking to grow some out on agar and innoc some quart jars with b+ and another strain(maybe Gulf Coast) as soon as my new 16quart pressure cooker gets here.
