Portugese Sweet Bread

Bake at 350 F (You fucking Europeans can figure out the fucking centigrade.  I'm giving this to you USA-style :wink: ) for 25 minutes or until the center of the bread is done.  Makes 3 8" (Again, fucking get your conversion rulers out, bitches) round loaves.


1C Milk 1C Sugar
1 t. salt 1/2 Cup Butter
2 T dry yeast Pinch sugar
1/3 C very warm water 4 eggs beaten
2 T milk 1 egg yolk

Combine the 1 cup milk, 1 cup sugar, salt and butter in a bowl.  Microwave until the butter melts, mixing as you go.  Set aside to cool until lukewarm.

Sprinkle yeast and sugar over very warm water in a separate bowl.  Let stand until bubbly.

Stir lukewarm milk mixture into yeast mixture.  Mix in eggs.  Beat in flour, 1 cup at a time, until 6 cups have been added and mixture forms soft dough.

Turn dough out onto lighlty floured surface.  Knead until smooth, elastic, and no longer sticky, adding as much of remaining flour as necessary.  Dough should not be too stiff.  Form dough into a ball.  Place in greased bowl, turn to coat.  Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled, 1 to 1.5 hours. 

Lightly grease 3 8" pans.

Divide dough into thirds.  Shape each into a ball, squeezing out large air bubbles.  Place dough in prepared pan.  Cover, let rise in warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 F. 

Mix egg yolk and 2 T milk; brush over dough.

Bake for 25 minutes or until loaves are deep golden brown and cake tester comes out clean when inserted in center of loaves.  Cool in pans or on wire racks.

View butt-porn and masturbate relentlessly until buns are cool.  Store in ziplock bags.
