Martha Setup Questions...

1) I have my huumidifier directly in my Martha setup, is that a problem?
2) i have 2 10" airstones with a 60 gallon pump to them, will that provided enough air exchange w/ 4-1/2" holes in the sided of the martha?
3) how long should i have the humidifer running for? i figured 24 hours at a medium setting should be good...
4) i plan on casing a letter/legal size rubbermade and was curious if 4-1/2" holes about 5" from the bottom of the container will be good for CO2 exchange? (This casing will be in the martha too...)
Any other suggestions.

A cool mist and airstones. Let us know if this even works.

1. what kind of humidifier 2. the humidifer will provide air exchange if it wasnt inside 3. 88-92% RH 4. the martha will have air exchange so no need for holes.
#4 depends on #2

its a vicks coolmist humidifier w/ ultrasonic.
also i have 2 10" airstones on the sides for some air exchange
what is the recommendation for built up h2o at the bottom of the martha? i put a rubbermade tote in the bottom and that has been catching most of it, but any other suggestions?

The cool mist should run 24/7 the ultrasonic every few hours. The air stones are a waste shrooms aren't people or plants for that matter and don't use that much oxygen. Attach the hoses at the top of the Martha and put two little holes in the bottom of the Martha (these are also gonna be drain holes).
Now under the Martha put a driveway drain pan for catching oil under cars. I line it with plastic so it doesn't rust as fast.

for me the best option for all the water in the bottom of the martha is to fill the Tub your martha is sitting in with perlite so it will collect all the water and make it more humid at the same time. and as far as having your cool mist and your ultrasonic running inside the martha, its kinda pointless to run a cool mist inside along with your ultrasonic because your cool mist is for FAE, and your ultrasonic is for humidity. so in order to utilize that attache a hose to your cool mist and run it outside of the martha to provide fresh air, and the ultrasonic inside to add humidity. But if you wanna make it simple, if your martha isn't too big your cool mist running on the inside of the martha on the bottom self, and holes in the side of the martha for fresh air, should enable you to keep optimum conditions.
