How long without a pressure cooker

I am thinking of using Clubb99's Honeywater mycelium tek but I don't have a pressure cooker.

What is the equivalent of 30 min at 15psi?

On a different version of the honey tek I read it stated to "sterilize for 30min" - does that mean boil for 30 min?

30 mins @ 15 psi is just that. A pot of boiling water is a poor trade for autoclaving as you don't get the temperatures and penetration required to really kill those baddies.

When a tek says sterilize, assume that means pressure cooking @ 15 psi and you'll never go wrong.

Just to make it clear, boiling water works for the beginner teks like PF, but will get extremely chancy as you move up the food chain. A good pressure cooker is the best investment a person can make in this hobby.

Boil the honey water first. One hour steaming should do it.

I asked a couple questions about p.c's a couple weeks ago, and a lot of people told me just go to good will and get one, theyre extremely cheap there, worth the investment.
