Yep, it's gone through. It received Royal Assent and comes in to effect on Monday at 12pm.

Get your last order in now! Or get a grow kit!

Is there any proof of this? I still see sites selling them and haven't heard about it anywhere other then here..

The bill went through (http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/pabills.htm), but it needs to be re-drafted in to an Act. This will take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks, in which time they can still be sold. After the Act is finished, the online stores will be shut down.

Hopefully it takes 8 weeks

I am so panicking right now, I'm just beginning to learn how to grow shrooms.

getting spores and grow kits should still be cool since they don't contain any psilocybin/psilocin.

that makes sense.. it's the same reason marijuana seeds can be sold legally, they don't contain THC so technically they could be used for birdseed or whatever else. lol.. i can just imagine feeding my 110euro feminised white widow seeds to a pet parrot..
does anybody have more insight into this?

Ahhhhh,

I managed to find out more information at last!!!

CHECK THIS:

www.EVERYONEDOESIT.COM

They are giving updates!

"
Following the shock announcement on Friday 8th April, that the UK Drugs Bill had circumvented the usual scrutiny and attained 'Royal Assent', we have received word that the UK Home Office may be postponing clause 21, which reclassifies magic mushroom products as class A drugs; pending the inclusion of exemption for wild mushrooms.

Does this mean that our beloved mushroom products are still available for sale?
For now, yes.

We'll keep you updated.

Signed it for all the good it'll do.
After my current batch of PF cakes have finished I think I'm going to stop growing , for a while at least. :frown: I don't want an "example" to be made of me. "An example of what?" I hear you ask. Someone trying to have fun, as I define it, with the minimum risks possible. I guess I'll have to do what the government want and become a pisshead.

And give the government another reason to associate our sacred mushroom with its anti-terror laws?

I don't think so...

The Home Office are still writing the law up. Apparently they've stopped answering calls from angry shroomers, head shops and campaign groups asking when the drafting will be finished and the law enacted.

I keep hearing "end of June" as the rough time the Home Office will be finished, although this is just speculation - it could be a lot sooner.

In the meantime, a Judicial Review case is being put together challenging clause 21 of the Drugs Bill by the Entheogen Defence Fund on the grounds of illegality and irrationality.

Spores will not be illegal, so there will still be potential for growing... not that I'd advocate that.

shrooms r extremely common over the entire uk - although for ridiculas amounts u might have to head out & they have always sold black market or been passed around coz ther free - this isn't going 2 effect any1 serious bout shrooms & buying fresh/off the internet is pretty expensive.
I don't agree with it but can c y politions want 2 ban em - Stoners rights & the like are not terribly important in the scheme o things & wen something goes wrong parents/ media etc go nuts - only a week or 2 ago a newspaper report bout that guy who bought 'legal' shrooms panicked & fell off a building & died - now 2 my mind hes a twat but normal people would say it wouldnt hav happen if he hadnt took shrooms - which i guess is true - 2 b honest I think if they can stop the sale of them it won't go any further - dried shrooms hav never been much of a pull for cops really - as a holding charge or if there being sold mayb but I don't think the pigs will hide in bushes to arrest hippies in wet fields with a bag of poopy mushrooms with gang warfare going on over crack in most towns
