this reminds me of something i saw around here where i guy drilled a hole in the top of his cakes and put a straw in there. the straw had holes poked in the end... he squirted 1 cc of water in there every day to feed his cakes and swore his flushes were bigger. i've considered trying this, it seems to help.

go for it, i don't see it hurting you.
