Sometimes the veil doesn't peel

Sometimes it happenns that I had to leave for the weekend and didn't
fan the mushrooms for a couple days. For the primordia this sometimes meant
that it wasn't going to grow. However, a couple times, the primordia in some
later stage were just touched by the C02, still grew out into fruiting,
with one difference - the cap never opened, the veil never peeled from the stalk. In fact, these mushrooms just kept growing and growing, longer and longer. Something got screwed up in the life cycle. Has any one seen this?

i was groing B+ and there was this 7 in shroom and the veil never broke. it grew from a pinhead to a 7 incher in 3 days and after that nothing happened. we left it hoping it would get bigger but nothing happened finally we decided that it was time to move on and we picked it (it was also the first shroom i ever picked/ate) and me and one friend split that shroom in havlf and ate it. all that i can say is that i tripped, and thats pretty good for a half ofd a shroom.

hey, you got to be genuine thats the name of this game. if you're real, then you aint got nothing to worry about, but if youre synthetic then starting tomorrow you're balls come off!
