Christmas In Cuba.
    #3513364 - 12/17/04 01:38 PM (12 years, 1 month ago)

I cant find a picture of it but in response to officials refusing to take down christmas decorations around a US building in Cuba, Cubans built a large billboard cross the street from the US building showing pictures of the abused prisoners at AbuGrade and has the words "Made in the USA" on it. Its also got a HUGE red swastika on the billboard...

Just saw it on CNN, Pics may be around but so far Ive just got articles.

Nope, just naked men forced to strip naked and make a pyramid on top of each other with bags over their heads.

Just pics of "enemy combatants" being imprisioned in a foreign country with no just cause and being beatn, tortured and humiliated by Americans.

Why would they show pics of anything else?

don't you find it interesting that saddam's mass graves ended up much smaller than the amount of civilians we killed?

Close enough for me.

How does the fact that people do horrible things justify us doing horrible things? Such logic will lead to an exponential decay of humanity...

What does this have to do with socialism?

Do you not see the point that I am making, Great_Satan? And what the hell does John Kerry have to do with any of this? (I certainly hope you haven't pegged me for a Kerry supporter, 'cause I am far from it)

http://projects.sipri.se/armstrade/Trnd_Ind_IRQ_Imps_73-02.pdf

Top three suppliers of arms to Saddam Hussein, 1973 - 2002

USSR: 57%
* France: 13%
* China: 12%

Then, in order of importance:

* Czechoslovakia: 7%
* Poland: 4%
* Brazil: 2%
* Egypt: 1%
* Romania: 1%
* Denmark: 1%
* Libya: 1%

USA's sales -- 1 percent. None provided before or after the Iraq-Iran war.

ok, that's very interesting.

but it has nothing to do with the point that i raised!

my point still stands - if we respond to horrible actions by more horrible actions of our own, in the end, all of humanity will be worse off. (and due to the cylical nature of hate - hate and violence breeds hate and violence breeds hate and violence ad infinitium )
