I am about to start some jars and i would like to know, If i'm going to use the PF Tek, can i use Rye flour instead of brown rice flour? And how will it effect my results?

Rye flour works well also...

I agree, Rye flour works nicely as well

If you're going to use Rye Flour, make sure it's ORGANIC Rye Flour. Spanky has used this before, and trust me, it slows growth down dramatically.
Your best bet would be to get some Organic Whole Grain Brown Rice and toss it in a coffee grinder or blender.

Yes...MushMush's tek is for Rye...but not Rye FLOUR. Rye would work fine, but again, Spanky highly recommends you do NOT use Rye flour. Go ahead and expirament with it, and you'll see what he means.

jared.. wow.. that's a lot of jars. Have you thought about using bigger containers? Might reduce the amount of work you need to do. I got some nice filter patch bags from mycosupply that easily hold 10 quarts of whatever you want.
Sounds like you and your friend must have come to an understanding about secrecy. ;)
