On June 29 1955, on a remote Mexican mountainside Robert Gordon
Wasson was the first westerner in recorded history to participate
in a sacred psilocybin mushroom ritual, hosted
by a Mexican-Indian shaman named Eva Mendez.
"We chewed and swallowed these acrid mushrooms,
saw visions, and emerged from the experience

I found it interesting that my b-day would have the same
date as the revalation of the sacred mushroom in western
society..
But in its own respect we all know what happened with
psychedelics in the following years (60's, 70's) and how
much this event has obviously shaped our lives, and now
here we are growing these in our homes.. I just thought
people would like to hear this little tidbit of Psilocybin
mushroom history.

Happy Bday! That was a nice piece of history there - lucky you. I have noticed a lot of Bdays around here lately. Mine is July 3. I will be celebrating with a trip this weekend and will keep you in mind.
