I was going to steam these but I have limited resourses.
Is there a decent substrate mix I could get from the local 24 hour foodstore?

if you have a 24hour walmart near you they might have vermiculite. unfortunately for me, they don't have it in the walmart where i live and even if they did the garden center is closed after like 9 or 10 pm. home depot was the only place i could find vermiculite.

but i've heard that some walmarts have verm in their gardening section so you might get lucky there

check out the 9-er tek on using brown rice as a substrate... but it isn't the most magnificent substrate.

zorak, you can keep from doing two posts in a row with the "EDIT" link on your posts.

i get bored easily while i'm high.
