Salt on print

How stable are prints? Some salt got on my print (don't ask how - it was fucking stupid) and I am wondering if I should just toss it or if is ok to still try to make a syringe from it?

I am sure that it is a rare case and finding an answer would be funnier if you told us the story but other than YOU I am sure that it has not happened try and tell us the results

not sure about the scientific side of things but i think sodium chloride solution is pretty nasty to cells and maybe spores.
it dehyrdrates cells but not sure what it would do to spores.
when u think about it tho salt is often used as a natural cleanser/antiseptic (in cuts etc...) so try it and help all the other ppl who are unfortunate enough to spill salt on their prints haha

Was it wet or sticky salt? Why couldn't you hold your print on its side and tap it? There should be no reason for a couple salt crystals to be a problem, especially when dissolved in several mL's of water.

As Suntzu said, if the salt remained crystalline, there should be no problem, just knock it off. If the salt went into solution and came into contact with spores, who knows? Some organisms have no problem tolerating salt solutions, others do. Give it a try and then write a paper on it (:>})
