Fairly New to "gardening"
    #351117 - 06/28/01 10:20 PM (23 years, 3 months ago)

K, I'm not new to gardening but new to growing ethnobotanicals. Anyway, I'd just like to ask anyone that feels like it to help me out by recommending some nice plants to grow and maybe some nice places to get ahold of seeds and stuff. I'm interested in plants with histories of Native American use and I don't plan on growing the plants just for the effects but just to grow most of them. All though I'd like to try some plants. Some seeds that I'd like to get ahold of are Heavenly Blue morning glory because of its looks and not for the lsa, I'd also like to get ahold of some poppy seeds for the looks and to experience opium, I would also like to grow almost ANY plants specifically effect your dreams. Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated : )

Thanks and no problem with that... I've read up on datura and it sounds a little too dangerous for me to ingest. MAYBE sometime in the future, but I doubt it.

Heavenly blue seeds can be found in any garden shop and most drugstores.
Poppy seeds can be bought at a grocery store: the ones for seasoning foods are papaver somniferum.
