Shrooms in NJ

anyone succesfully finding non-deadly shrooms in this area? I really don't want to die, so i would like some aid in pointing me to the right direction as to where would be a good plce to start.

Do all dedly shrooms kill you the same way? If so, is a certain chemical responsible or this?

i hope my ambigous questions generate lots of responses.

Go to the Shroomery home page, click on info, and scroll down to the bottom, and click on Mycilial Network. That page lists all of the NATIVE active mushrooms in each state. But it doesn't ever seem to be updated when introduced species have been found growing wild.

The only species listed in Mapping the Mycelial Network is Psilocybe gravaeolens. I'll bet that relatively no one has any experience whatsoever with this mushroom.
If you want more info on the Deadly or Poisonous mushrooms, PM me and I'll list them for you, no problem. I certainly wouldn't want you to get sick or die.
