A friend of mine has tried to trip with us on at least 3 occasions, and a couple of times by himself. Every time, he complains that all he feels in anxious and never gets any visuals at all, his thinking is still clear and he has never had a "trip" that he felt was worth the time and moneyf or the shrooms. His first time he ate 2g dry of shrooms we bought from some dealer - i ate an eighth that night and tripped balls - he said he felt nothing except for a slight anxious feeling. The next two times we all ate an eighth and each time he complanined of lacking a trip.

Anyway, is it possible that psilocybe just doesn't affect him the same way ti does most people? He is quite a bit bigger than the rest of us, but still, he should see something shouldnt he?

Your friend may be expecting too much from the magic mushrooms, or maybe something different from what he is experiencing. The easy way to cure this is to just increase the dose.

does he eat a big meal before tripping? that could be the problem but i say do what shroomin said and he will never be able to say anyting about lacking a trip.

I know several people like this too...

I suggest gettin him to fast for 6 hours before and take more... :smile:

The guys I know who feel little to no effects arent up for goin hungry before a trip though lol

Hey. If he isn't getting off on the same amount you get off on, are you sure he's really taking them? I guess if he's really fat then it's going to take more, but he should still be feeling something.

Or is he drinking with them? Taking other drugs or medications?

Something isn't right.

But yeah, 10 grams, and he'll appreciate the magic. He'll certainly never question it.

The ONLY time shrooms have done pretty much nothing to me is when I'm up 24+ hours.
