I suggest, when experimenting with new species, or new drugs for that matter, to go in sober. Alcohol numbs your senses, and your experience.
just a suggestion....about halfway through eat fresh fruit, I've found fresh fruit is almost the only thing I can eat when traveling outside the realms of reality.

Yeah, psychedelics are dulled by alcohol and it gives your liver a fighting chance as well. After all, why spoil the experience?

Who drinks before tripping anyway? I've never done that... I;ve heard that alcohol destroys Psilocybin or Psilocin... one of the two so it doesnt even let you trip

Yeah alcohol sucks while trippin IMO, I had never even thought about it before but a couple of weekends ago I went fishing all day and drank alot then when I got back into town I came accross some tabs so I picked up a few and tried one and drank about a 6 pack in the trip if you even want to call it that, very very weak boring trip and the acid was good the next time I didi it, very few visuals and I had a lack of concentration. Don't waste the trip.

Control for smilers can't be bought.

well, I like one or two beers before tripping but going into a trip when you're drunk seems a bad idea. better smoke some pot :smile:

I agree completely when going into a new experience, but if you know anyting about mushrooms or many other species of plant and cacti, you will agree that alcohol help the bloodstream absorb these toxins readily....Most natural drugs along with alcohol will give you stronger effects with shorter duration........Again though a clear head experimenting with a new drug is the way to explore it......

Going crazy will drive you mad, but once you get there the rest is easy.....

One beer can relax you so you can enter more easily but yeah being drunk and trippin is a waste. I agree that fresh fruit is about the only thing to stomach other than some tea.
I especially like nectarines. They seem easily digestable.

Ive tripped Pissed, had some LSD yesterday and drank a lot with it, tripped just as much, also drank lots with mushrooms and had a good trip.
