I love the fucking PIXIES!!!! I saw them at Coachella back in May and they were unbelievably amazing...I've rarely danced that hard in my entire life (And being that they were followed by Radiohead, and then Kraftwerk, needless to say my legs were TIRED by the end of the night).

Anyway, so I saw them again on Tuesday and against last night at Hammerstein Ballroom here in NYC, and the shows were simply sick. Seeing them for a third night tonight, and it's gonna be hard to say goodbye. Anybody love Frank and Kim and co. as much as I do? Gouge Away makes me want to smoke the world's largest joint...

I saw them on their last tour in 1991 or 1990. Kim was incredibly drunk or doped up on stage. good times.

the pixies are amazing. i am also a huge fan of anouther band with a bassist named kim that is resident to my town. NAME THE BAND to get a 5 mushroom rating from me!

haha glad everyone is up on their music. but sonic youth lives in my town of northampton mass. but yeah, kim gordon the bassist for sonic youth. i was just saying that kim deal of the pixies and kim gordon of sonic youth have the same name and play the same intstrument and the bands are similarly awsome. gland to know everyone knows of kim deal's band the breeders who are pretty awsome in their own right.

i saw the pixies this past summer at Roskilde Festival... i was waaaay trashed on cheap red wine, but enjoyed the show nonetheless!
i was going to see them again in chicago a month or so ago, but didn't have the money or the ride.
