cloning contammed fruit
    #3507489 - 12/16/04 05:29 AM (11 years, 11 months ago)

hey!

i been searching a bit but didnt really find the answer to my quesion,
so heres a little thread.

i got some strange brown spots on a mush's stem, obviously a contam,
but i sorta like the way the fruit looks and would like to clone it.

if i do so (cut ofcoz a piece of the stems inner tissue where no brown
spot were outside), will the clone also have this infection or not?

i point it out agarin, the brown dots are only @ its base and id
take tissue from the inner side of the stem way up some inches
from the dots.
peace ohm :mushroom2:

*edit*
btw i planned to make some honeywater, bath the lil piece of tissue in
h2o2, open the lil honey jar, kick in the tissue and squirt in some
h2o2 from a sterile syringe additionally.
would work out eh?

I would have to see a pic of the brown spot(s).

But, otherwise.... if it is not a type contam that spews spores.

Just clip & use a piece from under the cap, give it a peroxide bath & clone.
