how fast will these grow??? need advice...

hi all, i'm glad to say that my cake has finally started to pin =D
anyway here are the pictures... how do they look? kindy skinny dont you think??








Anyway, i'll be away for 3 days starting tomorrow and will not be able to take care of these li'l babies.. i can get the help of someone to fan them everyday though.. do you think it will be late to pick these by the time i get back? how much do you think they'd grow in those 3 days?

They'd be okay in 3 days I suppose. The veils might break but as long as they dont start to rot its all good.

what if there happen to be aborts when i'm not around? will they rot and contaminate my whole cake?

at what growth stage does most aborts occur?

They occur in the early stages of carpophore developement. They wont rot and kill everyone in the world in three days. You are good, dont worry.

They look way too skinny mein it looks like you are havin air exchange troubles
