Vision of death

When I die
and the last glimpse of the real world
fades away from my senses,
the Light will appear
in what can not be described as a "distance".
And the Light will be bright and warm
and I will know that It is my long lost home
and I will yearn to unite with it and become it,
for I will know it to be the happiest and warmest thing,
a million times happier then a childhood dream,
a million times warmer then mothers hands...
and tears of recognition will stream down my soul....
and then, as I start moving towards it,
all things from my past life will manifest themselves:
things which I desire and things which I fear and things which I hate
will appear and will start pulling me this way and that
and although I will still remember seeing the light
I will no longer know where it is
because of all the things that distract me
and at first I will keep seeing glimpses of it
and then I will just have the memory of it
and the realization that I will not join with it now
will become overwhelming
for I will know that this time, again,
I have blown it, I have missed it, I have lost it...
and this terrible feeling will last forever,
because I will forget what time is,
and then the swirl of visions from my life
will become even stronger
and things will start rearranging themselves
and I will be so busy trying to make sence of them
that I will eventually forget the vision of Light
and I will almost forget the disappointment of loosing sight of It,
and the visions will become steady again
in the new way
and my new life will begin.

Life it seems, will fade away
Drifting further everyday
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free
