green contamination turned white?
    #348743 - 06/25/01 04:15 PM (22 years, 9 months ago)

I have cambo cakes colonizing with Alien tek. On friday I noticed that a very small (about dime sized) spot of green at the very bottom of the cake. In case It is important the cake was about 95% colonized and the only visible uncolonized spot was the green color. I left for the weekend and when I came back the green is gone. Did the mycelium take over? Is the cake safe to birth. They are 100% colonized now but I am waiting a week before I birth them.

This is my first atempt at the Alien tek and Cambos. I have used PF tek before. Should I still be looking for a "earthy" smell. I slightly cracked open one jar and all I could smell was the cooked grains

Best to keep it seperated from the rest. You don't want that shit to spread.

I am having a similar problem with my Ausies. I have a green contamination but it seems to have mycelium growing around it. ie. it is in the mycelium. Do I get rid of the jar or not.

I also just got rid of a jar which had a very small spot of green contamination growing in it but this was not in the mycelium layer.

What should I do?
