The longest I've ever stayed awake was about 45 hours. After awhile, I couldn't even make sense of the littlest things, couldn't think or do crap, and I would stumble around a lot. Actually, I don't remember a lot from that time.

Hmmm I've never been up for more than about 48 hours straight... but I felt like I was completely mentally dead and had a lot of anxiety during that time.

Yeah me and 3 other guys were were supposed to stay up for a full 48 hours. Actually our entire battalion was. But me and these 3 dudes made a challenge to stay up the longest for a 100 dollar pot. I lost when I started puking from no sleep and started seeing shit.

65 hours straight. i had a lot of school work to do but i didn't drink coffee or anything, just toughed it out. the first night i actually drank a bottle of wine so i was hungover for the next day, and then just made sure i was stoned the entire time and i didn't really notice....when i finally got to sleep i think i only got 8 hours and i was still feeling fucked for the next couple of days. not recommended if you can avoid it.

Sometimes I get drunk early on in the day, and then have a hangover in the evening, then by night I can drink again.

I can see staying up many many days in a row if you're really stoned all the time.

If I'm tired, and I get stoned, I wont feel tired at all, and will in fact forget I was even tired in the first place. You'd just have to be careful you didn't get any burnout.

That would really fuck you up. You'd get so tired.

Last year I plowed for a town around me...I stayed up the better part of 3 days.

I was definetly hallucinating (which can't be a good thing, behind the wheel of a large truck).

I was fueled by stacker 2, coffee, and ciggaretes.  Very healthy combo,

About 3 years ago I stayed awake for a little over 5 days, without drugs. After a while you don't feel sleepy.
All I got out of it was 9 days in the mental ward at the local hospital. Its pretty entertaining in there. The only real down side is your treated like a child.
You get a set bedtime, they feed you pills and you have to go to group sessions.
If you act up they'll sedate you and watch everything you do this includes ,watching you while you shower,go shit and while you sleep.
So get your sleep kids its no fun getting crazy on no sleep.

back in the day....7 days and 6 nights on glass. Used to hang with alot of tweakers and...well you know how it goes. After a while you hallucinate and think absolutely crazy shit that makes no sense. Like people who you haven't seen for 2 years are planning on robbing you...

I slept for like 20 hours after my binge and when I woke up my joints and jaw muscles hurt like all hell. I seriously felt like I was 60 years old with arthritis. Me and my roomate basically sat around for a couple days afterwards and did little but get pissed off at eacj other for no reason

I wouldn't reccommend that to anybody

5 days, not sober. When I used to be a tweaker I would stay up for days at a time. Not cool at all. It f**ked with my head real bad.

Sleep is good, although I still rarely get it. It's still necessary.

I work night 3 nights a week, and have class during the day the other 4, so making that switch is always a head fuck, I frequently go 48 hours without sleep. It's not a healthy way to live, I need a new job :shake:

You guys are crazy. I have finals this week, but I am still getting 7-8 hours sleep. I simply will not take studying over sleep. You retain so much information during sleep and it becomes ingrained in your memory. I guess it is a trade-off, but for me... quality sleep is key to performing well.

yep. 7 days/7 nights. tweaking with friends on shards (glass) about a year ago. the shadow people are a bitch! ESPECIALLY while in the shower! i had to keep the shower curtain cracked open and wash my hair really fast, because it felt like i was in the bate's motel and anthony perkins was about to do the old in out with his butcher knife! not too cool. i had to take a break from that shit! i saw a girl that i used to tweak with and she's still at it and she looks 8 years older than she did 6 months ago. that shit is no good, but, in moderation, you can get a hell of alot accomplished on it. your apt will be spotless and all your clothes will be clean and folded. not ot mention that you won't spend any money on food.

Glass is another name for meth.

The longest I've stayed up is 92 hours straight. I ate 5 red jellies that had 5-meo-amt in them and I just couldn't pass out. i was up the whole night before I ate em and then ate em friday and didn't pass out til sunday. It was a brutal weekend.

The human organism needs approximately 5 hours sleep each night to sustain life; 8+ hours to be healthy. A radio DJ one time stayed up for I believe a period of either a week or three weeks (not sure which one, lol). Anyways, he had an entire team of doctors following him around everywhere. They found that lack of sleep slows down metabolism, decreases brain function, and just all-in-all fucked your body. Shocker. Suffice to say it is extremely unhealthy to not sleep. However, the good news is that it is possible to catch up on your missed sleep in one full night's sleep, with no alarm.

it doesnt count but when i got my night shift job (before i ever did drugs) i only slept like an hour or less every day,and in my dreams i thot i was at work so id wake up suddenly sweating and delirious,i was like that for four months or so.
you become spaced out,hollow
you have no will of your own really,i was a machine,if i had free time id just sit and stare into space,a few hours would pass and then id snap out of it and justlook around confused.
eyes were sore always, movements sloppy, food didnt taste as good and nothing was really entertaining.

Not sleeping is not always bad for our health.

A friend of mine, stayed up for as long as he could, to energize his spirit and extend his endurance...

There is a secret power that surrounds non ordinary behaviour in humans...

I know that shamans do the same thing some times or they don't eat for weeks, this way, they enter the non ordinary reality and come face to face with the unpredictable, the unknown.

This is equal to a psychedelic experience.

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

"People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."
