syko instigated a flame war with the thread so far, spud is gay or something along the lines of that
if he is banned for trolling
she should be banned for starting flame wars
this is unfair and unjust.

Smells like a diversionary tactic on the Swami situation to me.
Bank robbers use the same tactic. Blow up a bomb on one side of town..then hit the bank on the other side of town.
Divide and conquer. The mods and admins have all the power anyway. This sort of thing exposes the weakness of their position. Sad.

Believe it or not, just because someone is your buddy doesn't mean that they always follow the rules or are always in the right. You violate the rules multiple times or violate them severely enough, you get banned. That's just how it works.
People could easily avoid bans if they just followed the set guidelines for the boards and particular forums. Not hard, really.

The problem is, you apply the rules so subjectively. I see shit everyday so much worse than that, but they don't alert the admins, so it goes untouched.

No, that's no solution. People know how OTD is, and they continually bitch an moan about it. If they don't like it, then they don't have to scroll to the bottom of the page and click to enter OTD.
The Pub will always be there if they need it.

They didn't ban Spud just to cover their tracks. Whoever is doing the banning obviously doesn't give two shits about what we think, so why would they go through the trouble?
