hey everyone!
i am new to mushroom growing...my years of expertise are in MJ cultivation...and mush are a new side project for me now.
i have a problem though...i bought a spore syringe of pink buffalo cubes....and i did the PFtek method with the verm and brf.
i made a mistake by injecting the shit towards the middle and not outwards...but its been over 3 weeks now...and the jars have been sittin in the incubator at around 27 celsius...and there is no visible mycelium growth.
the woman at the store said this strain takes a week longer to grow...does that mean i'm ok, and i should be more patient?
or did somethin go wrong?

wait! next could be alot of factors ! to wet to dry ,to hot ,to cold, to noisy  :tongue: :grin:

hm my experience says that u need to be more patient and stop looking at em and exposing them to light! and that woman is a LIAR!

No myc after 3 weeks, something is definitely wrong.

Might want to try re-innocing this time shoot it to the outside.

But even if you shot the first ones in the inside there should be SOME myc growing...might want to suspect a bunk syringe.

ok....i will wait another week....exposing them to light is not a good thing at all eh?
and if i were to try this again...it will be ok to shoot more shit into the same jars?
wouldn;t the substrate be drier?

ok when i was inoculating...i removed everything from my bathroom...and sprayed all the surfaces with lysol....and i gave it like 15 mins for it to settle before i entered the room....there was sooo much lysol in the air...even 30 mins later that buddy and i got high...and my buddy had to leave to puke.
could the lysol killed the spores...or could this mean anything?
otherwise...i don;t see why there is no growth.
