I always thought it was kinda funny that we forget how fucking incredible life and the universe is. The universe is beyond comprehension billions upon billion of galaxies made up of incredibly small particles that leap out of nothing in waves. yet I tie my shoes.
Werd to that, bi0.

who ever said something about how we are evolving still i have something neat to add in.
the human mouth is getting smaller. some people don't grow wisdom teeth, bringing their tooth count down from 32 to 28. the frequency of humans not growing wisdom teeth will only increase as time moves on until a 32 toothed human doesn't exist.

Lately in school I've been studying anatomy and physiology. I've never been more fascinated by a curriculum. The way the body functions on so many different levels, and the degree to which it depends on it's environment to sustain itself... I've never looked at being alive from this angle before. The complexity of the human body is enormous, truly daunting when deliberately expored. Studying anatomy has raised a number of philosophical questions for me, and has to contributed to a certain feeling of fascination with life. I've found that the more focused I am on life and the richness it has to offer, the less focused I am on myself and my own desires, and the happier I become. And Phluck, those PBS specials are killer. I used to make a ritual out of watching NOVA or The Nature of Things with a bubbler to my right and a box of Ritz crackers to my left. Ahh... those were the days! http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/newsdesk/archive/releases/2004/16/video/b

...and everything else by the way!
But I gotta say, what has blown my mind the most recently is, like Phluck, a documentary that came out in theatres in france. Its called Genesis, and it tells the story of the universe, from the big bang, to animals' appearance on earth. I've never seen such a beautiful movie, it really wraps everything up in a way that makes you realize everything is spiritual. Here's a link to some pics of the movie pictures of Genesis , but the movie is more worth it. Go check it out if you can!

The idea that everything "just" happened. It's abslutely amazing how everything on this planet seems to work perfectly until man steps in and screws it up. How birds are born and with no teaching whatsoever grow up and do the same thing their parents did. If man insn't completely different than every other life on this planet, why aren't we born with the same kind of genetic instructions? And if evolution is the answer wouldn't it make since that we would have the most genetic instinct and grow up faster than anything else. Most evolutionist are firm believers that traits are passed on that are positive and those traits that are negative die with their owners. Explain greed, envy, hate, anger, laziness, etc, etc, etc, etc,...........

What boggles my mind is in essence a state of nothingness. It is impossible for any human being to imagine what nothingness would be like, because the only existence we know is our own existence. Nothingness contradicts everything that we have ever known, because what would there be if no matter in the universe ever existed? Just another thing that shows the mystery of life more clearly.

The fact that some people ignore the existence of a higher power, when the universe is as vast and as complex as it is and yet it all works perfectly together to support life on this one little planet... (that we know of.. obviously..)
