for the last two years, i have been picking cubes every summer. i live in northwestern, fl, so the temps are pimp. anyway, now we're around 60*f, and i dont know what to look for. what active species should i look out for the most/ be most likely to find???
ive always been scared of looking for anything other than cubes cause theyre so easy to identify; all the other species just look like any other mushroom to me, i.e. easy to misidentify. this is why ide rather concentrate on one species to find, so i can get all the specs down. oh, and i know the routine; bruising? take spore print, etc.
Rule broken: 4. Do NOT ask what mushrooms can be found growing in your state or imediate area This information is easily found in the Mushroom Hunting FAQ and/or has been posted at least once elsewhere on the net.
