Detecting Psylcibin?

Ive found a few shrooms in here, they are kind of like the Psylocibe Austrialan, they are kind of flat at the top and the only difference is that they are beige with brown spores. I was just wondering, is there any procedure or chemical to detect psilocybe ? like ph tests, the paper turns red or blue....

Well I doubt if they are like Psilocybe australiana. The P. australiana ae chestnut colored in the cap without brown spots, their stems are pure white and they bruise extremely blue when handled.

A picture would have helped in the iding of the speices.

You actually gave a description for about three hundred little LBM's.

I think the Ps. australiana is found in...Australia.

There is a very common test for psilocybe mushrooms, its called seeing if they bruise blue.

The mushroom in question also has brown spores.Banshee,to be a psilocybe species, it needs to have purple-brown spores.

Damn im stupid, they even grow in my school, they grow in big patches, but the ganators, always get rid of em... anyways thanks for telling me, ive red a few reports on misunderstanded mushrooms, this one chick died... ill just have to wait for my friend to come back from canada, with spores, and fresh shrooms
