What would happen? Lack of light...

If I was currently growing mushrooms in vitro, and I already had picked some aborts, and there were lots of mushies growing, what would happen if the containers went three days without light? Would this damage anything, or stunt growth? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

These are not plants. Light is used my mushrooms as a "director". This means that they use light to tell them when/which direction to grow. Light(or lack there of) will not stun or damage anything. That is unless your light is giving off heat then it's not the actual light your going to worry about but the heat that it generates. peace
