well, yesterday started off with downpour rain, then sun, then rain, then sun in hour intervals. the humidity was 100% temp about 30C it was hot, wet and muggy with gusts of wind. then the rain stopped, humidity stayed stable all night, when first light came, it began to mist and the temp dropped to about 25C. i can SMELL them! i can HEAR them calling out like children. giggling and playing like on christmas morning and its time to get up. its almost like god is trying to grow mushrooms and it fanning/misting/ maintaning temp/humidity of the substrate at optimal levels :) so a si said. IT IS TIME. i will however wait untill tomorrow before i reap of the bounty.

My natural gauge is the conocybes growing in my backyard, i find they they grow at the same time and in the same conditions as panaeolus subbaltaetus.

here is todays specimines of Conocybe lactea that appered from nothing in the past 5 hours.

Awesome, glad to hear the weather has been good to you up there. Hope you find lots 'o shroomies tommarow :)

Whatever came of that unidentified mushroom that stained blue?? Was there any type of bioassay? Try to find some more of those things, I'm still looking through the books trying to figure this one out.

I could use some of those, but what ever happened to the earlier attempts to identify those mushrooms? Surely you must be stuck in a quandry my young friend. You, my friend, must be part of the quandry itself.

I knew this whoudl happen eventually, I was jsut waiting for it to happen.. Mitchnast and I would start as the best of friends only to eventually become BITTER enemies. Previously, only Thor and I were BITTER enemies at the SHroomey. Oh well, I just hope GOD takes off the tension mobile soon.
